Chester: Roger Adams but likely London: John Camden Hotten c. 1860 1739 - Small 4to. 24, (1) pp. Recent black quarter calf over matching cloth sides, spine with raised bands, gilt lettered to one panel. 11 pages each featuring 6 illustrations of coats of arms, many with contemporary hand colouring, a good number heightened in gold. A very good copy. An attractively hand coloured copy of an uncommon reprint of a very rare 18th century heraldic work. Only a handful of copies of the original edition can be traced in institutional catalogues worldwide.
