Vincenzo Valgrisi, Venice 1565 - Two parts with continued pagination in 1 volume. 8vo:[32]-682 pp. Complete with 51 full-page woodcuts attributed to Dosso Dossi or Giovanni di Niccolo de Lutero (1489-1542), a painter from Ferrara. Text on two columns with woodcut frames surrounding the "Argomento" before each "Canto". Fully vellum, probably mid 17th century, previous owners inscription on front end paper 'Edw. Hamley, Padua 1804'. Title page laid down, otherwise a remarkably fresh copy. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
