Richard Bentley, London 1847 - 2 VOLUME SET. xv + 304 pages, portrait frontispiece of the author and 1 plate of Dohomean weapons, folding map; xi + 314 pages, 2 tinted lithographs and 2 woodcuts in the text. This work has been rebound in half green calf with cloth boards, gilt lining, spines with raised bands and gilt lettering, new endpapers, a very nice matched set. Both volumes have impressed library stamps both on title and frontispiece, but with no other marks. The interiors are clean of good quality paper showing uniform browning. 8 x 6 Inches [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
