Copy previously owned by Irving Shepard, son of Jack London's stepsister Eliza, with his signature on the ffep. Frontispiece illustration. Octavo, 257 pp. Teal blue green cloth with white imprinting and gilt celtic emblem on cover and spine. Stain causing white and other faint discoloration along spine and corresponding joint areas (see scan), one notable foxing spot at bottom page edges. Joints, hinges strong, no sign of starting. Very Good. Contents have the Shepard signature on ffep, are else near fine. Jack London's memorable socialist parable, with association status by virtue of its prior ownership by Irving Shepard.
