Calavas 1930 - Folio, 18 of 20 vibrantly coloured pochoir plates (lacking plate 13 & 14), from the reference library of Hudson, Scott & Sons, Carlisle, with their small stamp to lower blank margin and verso of plates, loose as issued in orig. printed wrappers, cloth portfolio rebacked and a little worn. A collection 44 textile designs intensely-coloured on 18 plates by Alexey Brodovitch, Yvonne Bouchaud, Alexandra Bitchkova, Jacques Camus, Marianne Clouzot, Serge Gladky, Boris Lacroix, Okolow, and Henry Valensi. A brilliantly coloured pochoir pattern book meant for woven or printed fabrics, wallpapers, and decorative elements - a fine example of Art Deco in France in the mid-1920s. [Attributes: Soft Cover]
