Vol 1, [2], [4], 1-53, 1-55, 1-33, [1], 1-26, 1-23, [1], 1-52, 1-31, 1-38, [1], 1-55, [1], 1-24 pp, each chapter (1 to 10) has is own pagination, numerous illustrations. Vol 2, chapters 11-27, [2], [4], 1-21, [1], 1-31, [1], 1-16, 1-11, [1], 1-7, [1], 1-26, 1-15, [1], 1-17, [1], 1-22, 1-28, 1-24, 1-20, 1-18, 1-21, [1], 1-21, [1], 1-57 pp, includes numerous illustrations, again each chapter has its own pagination. The course was first prepared and presented to the Admiralty Underwater Weapons Establishment in Portland in 1983/84. Both volumes show the contents list Chapters 1-27, which indicates there was not a 3rd volume?, chapter 27 being a reproduction of a review lecture presented at the Royal Society in london. Very rare, we can only locate 1 copy at Stanford. Chapters on Complex Variables, Fourier Transforms, Random Processes, Flow Noise on Surfaces, Propeller and Helicopter noise, Random Scattering, Vortex Shedding and much more! [Attributes: Hard Cover]
