Original cloth ; Peter Kaufman was one of the most active members of the Harmony Society, who had signed the revised Harmony constitution and then, soon after, withdrew from the Society. He wrote Rapp in 1827 about the great progress of their society of United Germans and about the new state of Teutonia. Arndt: George Rapp's Harmon Society pp. 358 - 377, an important Utopian piece by an associate of Robert Owen.
