GEOGRAPHIA ANTIQUA: being a complete Set of Maps, of Antient Geography, beautifully engraved from Cellarius. On Thirty-three Copper Plates. Designed for the Use of Schools, and of Gentlemen who make the Antient Writers their Delight and Study.
London. J. F. and C. Rivington. 1785. - Title and 33 engraved maps. Contemporary sheep-backed boards. Oblong: 24 x 41 cm. Binding heavily worn; endpapers and title a little creased; however, but for one which has a small mark, the maps are very clean. This work is more commonly found as a quarto, with the maps folded at the centre. This oblong edition is certainly preferable. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
