Contemporary ownership signature to front free endpaper, a couple of small ink annotations to contents. Very lightly rubbed at ends of spine, endpapers lightly toned. An excellent copy in the rubbed and creased jacket with some small chips and short closed tears and a tanned and spotted spine panel. First edition, first impression. Written in the aftermath of the great depression, Keynes's masterwork is generally regarded as probably the most influential social science treatise of the century; it quickly and permanently changed the way the world looked at the economy and the role of government in society.
