[Underground newsletter]: FTA: Fun Travel Adventure
Louisville, Kentucky: FTA, 1972. Near Fine. Quarto. Seven mostly non-consecutive issues (No. 6 Christmas 1968; Vol. 2, No. 2.; Vol. 3, Nos. 5, 8, 9; Vol. 4, Nos. 2, 4 Near fine. Crudely printed newsletter issued by the antiwar GI movement at Ft. Knox. Contents include anti-brass articles (including some deriding specific officers), advice for antiwar GIs, including on how to flee to Canada, general critiques of the Vietnam War, comics, etc. The name of the newsletter, "FTA" was also an abbreviation for the newsletter's slogan: "Fuck the Army". The final issue announces the opening of a G.I. Coffee House in Louisville.
