Smith (Upland, California), two oblong 12 x 8 1/2 inches tall red buckram cloth hardcover volumes, no dust jackets (as issued), gilt lettering to front covers and spines, illustrated with color photographs, each volume thoroughly indexed, [v.1] ix, 216, 12; [v.2] v, 218-384, 12 pp. plus laid in at the rear of Volume 2 are 1988 and 1991 signed letters from the author to the prior owner, a relative, as well as other letters and documentation regarding family history. Very slight soiling and rubbing to covers, mostly to the front cover of Volume 1. Very slight soiling to the front pastedown of Volume 1. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this rare, meticulously compiled family history and genealogy. OCLC (No. 18909089) locates only two copies at institutions worldwide - one at the New England Historic Genealogical Society in Boston and one at the Library of Congress in Washington.
