New York: Artists Equity Association, 1953. First Edition. Trade Paperback Trade Paperback. Good. 10 pages and 58 lithographs printed rectos (one per page) only. 9 by 11-3/4 inches. One of 2000 numbered copies. Artists Equity (now New York Artists Equity Association) was formed in 1947 to advocate for artists. During the 1950s, the group organized elaborate events and as a fundraiser solicited ads from New York businesses, each one designed by a member artist. This program includes lithographic reproductions of work by Milton Avery, Reginald Marsh, Antonio Frasconi, Fritz Eichenberg, Ruth Guinzburg, Lisa Rhana, and many others. First edition (first printing). Copy 1311 of 2000. Plastic-comb bound, as issued. One comb tine missing. A touch of dampstaining to top left of front cover, corners slightly worn. Overall a good to very good copy. Scarce.
