John Murray, London 1815 - Printed for John Murray, Albemarle Street on high quality heavy paper. Blue boards. Gilt title to the spine - slightly faded. Mild fading to the front board where book has been exposed to light while positioned on shelf next to a smaller book. 100 rough cut pages. The name 'Preston Institution 1928' is stamped to the title page and repeated 21 times throughout the book. Rather than defacing the pages these stamps sre generally in the margins and add a somewhat 'aged' character to the book. very clean ffep - some 'dusty marks to the first title page, the third free page has age foxing, the main title page has some 'dusty marks' to the page edge. All the pages are firm and very readable. Some dusty edges throughout. To the inner board is a small neat stamp - 1300 and a pencil number E6/26.
