The Silent World of Nicholas Quinn
Macmillan, London 1977 - First printing, with an inscription by Dexter dated 9th September 1977. The book is tightly and squarely bound, the boards are a little bumped to the corners and spine ends and the spine is a touch faded. The text block is a little age toned with a few minor spots of foxing, but free from inscriptions, other than that of the author. The dust jacket is the original and not price clipped, it is slightly age toned, with some minor nicks at the corners and spine ends and a touch of surface soiling, but overall it is a very good example. The third Inspector Morse novel and perhaps the most difficult of the series to find as a first edition, copies inscribed in the year of publication are particularly uncommon. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
