Waiting for Godot
London: Faber, 1956. A first edition, first printing published by Faber in 1956. A very good copy with some off-setting to end-papers and two small names to the front endpaper and one previous owner's stamp to the pastedown. In a very good+ wrapper which is not price clipped showing 9s 6d and has a little loss to the head of the spine and some rubbing to extremities, but shows very well indeed. 'Nothing happens, nobody comes, nobody goes, it's awful' (the reviews weren't good in France!). An important piece of work by the Nobel prize winner.
