Fine etching, drypoint, and aquatint entitled "Teutophone: Souvenir d'Huningue 92 " By French artist Louis Legrand (1863-1941)
[Paris], 1892. Legrand , a contemporary of both Toulouse Lautrec and Félicien Rops, is known for his etchings depicting Parisian life, particularly dancers.. 278 x 245 mm. + wide margins, sheet size 482 x 320 mm. Printed on simili-japon. a fine impression. The instrument depicted is possibly an E-flat tenor horn rather than a tuba. A young girl carries a very large beer stein in the foreground.
