- Antique print, titled: 'Zeeland Veredelt.' - Coats of arms and names of the members of the council and cities of Zeeland. In the middle Stadholder William III of Orange Nassau. Eight men with shields with coats of arms and banners represent the cities of Zeeland. The provincial coat of arms in the center. Coats of arms with names and functions of important families in the lower half of the image. Handcoloured etching/engraving on hand laid paper. Description: From: Mattheus Smallegange's 'Nieuwe Cronyk van Zeeland'. Middelburg/Amsterdam: Johannes Meertens/Abraham van Someren, 1696.Artists and Engravers: Condition: Very good, given age. Original middle fold, as issued. Some small stains in the margins. A crease in the lower left margin corner, a small tear in the right margin. Later hand colouring. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. Storage location: BG-E1-09 The overall size is ca. 21.7 x 16.9 inch.
