REMINISCENCES OF A STOCK OPERATOR
New York: George H. Doran Company, [1923].. 299pp. Half title. Original green cloth, spine gilt. Slightly cocked, minor shelf wear, small tears in cloth at bottom of spine. Very fresh internally. Very good. Lacks the dust jacket. The second printing of the first edition of this classic fictionalized biography of the famed stock trader, Jesse Lauriston Livermore. The first edition is distinguished by being in a slightly larger format, bound in tan cloth, with the title stamped in blind on the front board and in gilt on the spine. It is a detailed and informative primer on trading and speculation, and remains a valuable source of insight to this day. A legendary rarity in any form.
