Dublin: A. Crook, 1705 - FIRST EDITION IN ENGLISH, first collected edition. Small folio (30 x 20cm), pp.[20], 172, [14], 76, 164, 64, 175-196, [4], 70, 44, 55, [1], 28, [4], 42, [4], 59, [3]. With five engraved plates including a map. Recently re-backed using original near-contemporary mottled calf boards, both stamped in gilt with the Royal Arms of King George I. New tan calf to spine with raised bands and gilt titles to black label. Occasional heavy browning or spotting; occasional marginal notes. Prelims and final leaves quite heavily browned and worn, with some barely legible ink notes to main title page and an ownership inscription of John Addison, Glasgow, 1852 to following page.
