A story of two women and a man fighting against the feudalism of ex-State Senator Sutton and their fast-lived escapades. Baldwin was immensely popular in her day for her romance-themed novels. Signed presentation from Baldwin on the front endpaper, to mystery writer Mignon Eberhart and her husband: "Minnie and Alan, with Love from Faith."
