Chelsea: Printed at the Ashendene Press, 1930. . Limited edition, one of 260 copies of a total edition of 280, there being 20 copies printed on vellum. Folio. (2), 363, (1) pp. Original full white pigskin by W.H. Smith & Son with their discreet gilt stamp to the foot of the rear pastedown, spine with raised bands, gilt lettered to two panels, all edges uncut, the bookplate of Vyvyan Edwards to the front pastedown. Spine slightly tanned, a very attractive copy. Printed by St. John Hornby at the Ashendene Press at Shelley House, the opening lines of each book and the marginal notes are printed in red and were designed by Graily Hewitt. The main part of the text is printed in black using Ptolemy type while the marginalia utilises Blado Italic. A finely printed work.
