The Mill on the Floss.
Edinburgh & London: William Blackwood and Sons,, 1860. 3 volumes, octavo (198 x 131 mm). Early 20th-century tan half morocco by Birdsall & Son, Northampton, raised bands to spines, blue morocco labels, compartments decorated in gilt, blue cloth sides with a double gilt rule, marbled endpapers, top edges gilt. Bookplate of Sir George John Armytage, 6th Baronet (1842–1918) to front pastedowns. Extremities a little rubbed, spotting to text block, particularly to prelims, otherwise an excellent copy.
