Octavo, pp. [1-2] 3 [4] 5 [6] 7-172, flyleaves at front and rear, original decorated maroon cloth, front panel stamped in gold and blind, spine panel stamped in gold, rear panel stamped in blind, yellow endpapers. First edition. A dozen stories of the weird and unusual, some crime and detection, others Gothic, at least one ("A Dream Realized") supernatural.
