Pale marks to covers, label has damage with loss of letters, inner hinges cracked, pastedowns and endpapers heavily foxed, pale foxing to frontispiece, pale offset from frontispiece onto title page, some pale age-browning and pale foxing to text, otherwise a good copy of the first edition.
