Albany, Carroll and Cook, 1844. . Illustrated with 140 full-page color plates (from a total of 141, lacking plate #70). This copy signed twice by F. E. Spinner, U. S. Treasurer under Abraham Lincoln. Bound in publisher's original full black cloth with blind stamped decorations, and a bird stamped in gilt on the front and spine. Skillfully rebacked with original spine mounted. Corners bumped, former owner's signature on front paste down, relatively inoffensive foxing throughout text, otherwise fine; foxing to a few plates otherwise clean and bright. Hard Cover. Book condition: Very Good. Signed
