Berolinensi.; small green stamp on recto of title page and on last page, reading "Friedr Wilh. / Pfeiffer / Breslau"; Richard Friedrich Johannes Pfeiffer (1858-1945) was a German physician and bacteriologist, known for his many fundamental discoveries in immunology and bacteriology. Among them, he discovered bacteriolysis and it went on to be known as the Pfeiffer Phenomenon. Later in life he held the chair of hygiene in Breslau from 1909-1925, when he retired.; Fleming's Teutsche Poemata (Poems in German), was published posthumously in 1642, and was later renamed Geistliche und weltliche Gedichte (Spiritual and Secular Poems); shelved case 0.
