Churchtown, Dundrum: The Cuala Press,, 1919. Octavo. Original cloth-backed green boards, white label to spine, front cover lettered in black, green endpapers. Wood-engraved title vignette by Thomas Sturge Moore. Spine very slightly soiled, covers faded around edges, a little soiled, text block lightly toned, some pages unopened. A very good copy. First edition, first impression, one of 400 copies, containing two of Yeats's lyrical verse plays: The Dreaming of the Bones and The Only Jealousy of Emer. The Dreaming of the Bones was first performed in 1931 at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin. The Only Jealousy of Emer was first performed in Amsterdam in 1922.
