New York: Simon & Schuster, (1967). First American edition. Hardcover. Near fine/good. 4to. Grey cloth. Near fine in good jacket. REVIEW COPY with slip laid in. Jacket rather shabby: chipped, edgworn, and rubbed, with several short tears. All as relatively common, the DH is nortoriously fragile; unclipped. Book itself has touches of shelfwear. Some faint toning to pages. Else clean and sound. 256pp. One of the greatest film books of all time. Truffaut's interviews remain Hitchcock's fullest elucidation of his work and technique. An uncommon review copy.
