With eight photogravure plates, including a frontispiece portrait for each vol.; 18 coloured plates; and 260 photographic plates taken by members of the expedition. Handsomely bound in half dark blue oasis morocco leather, spine gilt-lettered in six compartments with raised bands, matching cloth sides, top edge gilt. Light and occasional spotting; discreet repaired tear on two maps, externally unmarked. A very good set indeed.
