1934 - Antique print, titled: 'De droge hengelaars club.' - (The dry anglers club.) Location: Amsterdam. Description: Signed by artist in pencil, lower right. Monogrammed in plate.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Cor de Wolff' after an anonymous artist. Cor de Wolff (1889-1963) was a Dutch painter and graphic artist. His ambition was to make lively art, full of fantasy, inhabited by curious caricaturized shaped puppet-like figures. Cafes, festivities, kermis and markets were his favorite subjects. Woodcut on thin japanese paper paper. Anonymous. Excellent, given age. Missing top right top corner, backed by black paper. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
