Children Of Hertha And Other Poems
The Holywell Press, Oxford 1929 - Small volume of poetry in stiff card binding with illustrated jacket over the top. The jacket is affixed to the spine. Now a very scarce volume. From a limited edition of 300 copies, this one being numbered 102. Inscribed by Ivor M. Cross Stowe, 1930 on the front free endpaper. Small chip to the head of the spine but the book remains very bright and solid. Ivor Cross was the first housemaster of Temple house at Stowe School where Laurence Whistler attended. Children of Hertha was printed while Whistler was there and sold in the school shop. Very Good / very good. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
