Plauen i. V.: Christian Stoll, 1908. First edition. Hardcover. g- to vg. Square folio (15 1/2 x 15 1/2"). [1] leaf (Title), 24 loose leaves (Plates). Original half blue cloth over decorative paper covered portfolio. String ties. Decorative title page. Collection of 24 striking pochoir colored lithographs, produced by C. G. Röder, in Leipzig, with extraordinarily detailed, and beautiful Art Nouveau designs. Most plates contain elaborate ornamental designs of intertwined floral and geometric motifs. Other plates contain additional designs showing different kinds of animals (mostly birds), plants, and fruits. Each plate measures 15 3/8 x 15 1/4" and contains several pochoir patterns within a 13 x 13" black frame. Portfolio darkened and foxed on covers, and rubbed along edges, with some fraying along spine. Tip of lower right corner of title chipped. Sporadic foxing and minor creasing along paper margin (not affecting plates). Title in German. Portfolio in overall fair to good-, interior in good+ to very good, pochoir plates in very good condition.
