- Antique print, untitled. Designs for jewelry. Engraving on laid paper. Watermark: Coat of arms of Basel. Description: Undescribed print after designs by Mensma. Rare!Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Christiaan F. Fritsch' after 'Alger Nicolaas Mensma'. Christiaan F. Fritsch (active 1740-1780) originated from Hamburg. He worked for Jan Punt and others as engraver. Alger Nicolaas Mensma (1682-1757) worked as a silversmith in Amsterdam. Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins. Tiny binding holes in the left margin. Some cerasing in the margins and a vertical crease over the right edge of the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. Storage location: TPCRC-A23-04 The overall size is ca. 8.2 x 13 inch. The image size is ca. 6.9 x 10.2 inch. The overall size is ca. 20.8 x 33 cm. The image size is ca. 17.5 x 26 cm.
