Savannah: Morning News Steam Printing House, 1878. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Tall octavo. [2], 262 pages. Illustrated with 5 plans. Light green cloth hardcover with gilt stamped title on spine. Cloth is shelf worn with a faded section on the front cover. Light edge wear to cloth extremities. Light damp stains to end sheets. This copy is inscribed by the author's son, Georgia historian Charles Edgeworth Jones, to "F. W. Capers, Jr. Esqr with the affectionate regards of Chas Edgeworth Jones Augusta Ga Augt 19, 1893." Contents include history of Old and New Ebenezer, Frederica, Abercorn, Sunbury, Hardwick, Petersburg, Jacksonborough, and misc. towns and plantations. This book inscribed to F. W.
