State: Third state of 3. Ref: NH 270. IconClass 73C11.Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after 'Maarten de Vos'. Maarten de Vos (1532-1603) was an Antwerp painter and draughtsman of the late sixteenth century. His travels to Italy made him adopt the Mannerist style. His designs were very popular and were followed widely. Engraving on laid paper. Watermark: Foolscap. Anonymous. Good, given age. Large margins. Large tear in lower left extending into image, backed, not very visible General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
