Bookseller's ticket: James Miller, Oban.Yoolow, who read only the Bible, was found not to be an imbecile. With a long introduction discussing the state of the law: 'The law cannot convert the idiot or the lunatic into a rational being, competent to take and maintain his place as an efficient member of society'.
