Printed and published by Douglas Pepler, Ditchling and Hammersmith. 1916 - First edition. First issue binding of cream cloth. 12mo. 21 pages. Twelve woodcuts (including that on the cover and another on the colophon page) - ten by Ronald Seal and two by David Pepler, after the drawings by the author. Surely the youngest member of the Ditchling crowd, the author was five when she wrote this as a birthday present to her mother. Her father was the calligrapher Edward Johnston whose a biography she later wrote.Covers slightly marked. Very good indeed. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
