Edward Coleridge, with H.N.C.'s love. 27 Oct. 1840." Henry Nelson Coleridge (1798-1843) was the son of Colonel James Coleridge, brother of Samuel Taylor Coleridge. In 1829 Henry married Samuel Taylor Coleridge's daughter, his cousin Sara Coleridge."The following Letters on the Inspiration of the Scriptures were left by Mr. Coleridge in MS at his death" (Advertisement, p. iv).
