Charles Gaudelet(1817–1870) was a French master-glass-maker fromLille. He worked exclusively with the paintersVictor Mottezand occasionally withBruno Cherier. The cartoons from his studio were acquired by themusée des Beaux-Arts de Lillein 1870 at the instigation of the painter and collector Camille Benoit. Condition: Very good, given age. Remains of attachment on rear. Some small scattered stains in the margins and image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
