The book is hand-set on on 250 gsm Somerset Satin in 16pt Bembo, it is bound in boards covered in Gampi Torinoko Natural with a cloth spine and is housed in a cloth-covered slipcase. It has been designed jointly by Janis Butler and Walter Bachinski, it includes three multi-colored pochoirs and three two-colored woodcuts. There were 110 copies printed with 100 for sale. This one, number 58, signed by Walter Bachinski and Janis Butler on the Colophon page. With the original prospectus laid in; Composed before the invention of writing, this poem comes out of the oral tradition and describes the dangerous liaison between goddess Aphrodite and the mortal Anchises. Their lovemaking takes place on the grassy slopes of Mt. Ida, with dangerous consequences for Anchises. It is one thing for a god to make love to a mortal woman, but the union of a goddess and a mortal always has unfortunate results. Translated by Susan C.
