Emléklap, a Nasser Péter Attila vándordij 1945-46 évi 2. helyezettjének. Czinkota Lászlo részére
Januar 21, 1946, Ujpest - Illustrated. Title page with a montage of an original photograph. 2 full page illustrations, and one page with a clipped photo. Handmade leporello. Handwritten throughout in black and red ink. Signed by the designer. Leporello of brown card board. (8) pages. "Péter Attila Nasser challenge trophy" memorial award, a hand made leporello, created by the father to commemorate his son who was killed in Auschwitz, given to Lászlo Czinkota. The cover of this small booklet is a photo montage using an original photo of the baby boy Péter Attila Nasser, it follows the touching textual part which tells that the boy died in Auschwitz when he was only 15 months old, together with his mother, both grandmothers, aunts, and uncles, and illustrated with two watercolors. The Nasser family lived in Ujpest a small city close to Budapest (today a district of the capital), where the father ran a jewelry shop. During the Holocaust, about ten thousand Jews were deported from Ujpest to Auschwitz in July 1944, among them many children and babies like Péter. Today a "Stolperstein", a concrete cube bearing a brass plate with name and life dates, commemorates the memory of Péter Attila Nesser (1943-1944), at the entrance of his former domicile in Ujpest. More details of the family and the death of Péter could be found in his cousin's, Stephen Nasser's book (My Brother's Voice. Stephens Press, LLC, 2003.), who witnessed his death in Auschwitz and survived the Holocaust. Title and last pages stained, their illustration slightly damaged. Corners bumped, broken. Overall in good condition. Handmade leporello. Handwritten throughout in black and red ink. Signed by the designer. [Attributes: First Edition; Signed Copy]
