Bound by Westleys and Co with a binder's stamp to the rear pastedown. Illustrated, with a folding map and a colour plate. Author is not stated, Copac attributes author, alike to prior owner's note to title page, to Henry Drummond Wolff. Condition: In a full cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with bumping to the head and tail of spine and to the extremities. Light rubbing to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Fading to the boards. Inscription to the recto of front endpaper 'From the Author'. Prior owner's notation to the title page indicating the author. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright with spotting to the first and last few pages, particularly to the folding plate. Occasional scattered spots. Overall: VERY GOOD..
