Two volumes bound in one; both title pages bound in at the front of the volume; only 542pp pages to volume II – should be 552pp (index finishes at ‘L’); marbled boards. New spine with gilt titles to a green calf label. Frontispiece of a statue presented by Napoleon to O’Meara, followed by title to Volume II, followed by a further Frontispiece of a Cameo again presented to O’Meara and a text title page to Vol I. The second volume is preceded by an engraved plate of the house where Napoleon died and medal with Napoleon’s profile. Incomplete but a nice copy externally with complete text apart from the index.   Condition Report Externally Spine – very good condition – respine. Joints – very good condition – solid.
