The Cornish Magazine - Vols 1 & 2 (all published).
Joseph Pollard, Truro., 1898; 1899. Royal octavo. Two volumes: pp [iv], 488; [iv], 420. Many illustrations. Original publisher's binding of mustard buckram blocked in black and gilt. The magazine is unsurprisingly concerned mostly with Cornish matters. The contributors include A.C. Benson, Eden Philpotts, S. Baring-Gould, Arthur Symons et al. On the front free endpaper of the first volume is an accomplished pencil sketch, signed with an impenetrable monogram, entitled ''By the Cornish Sea''.A near-fine set.
