John Ball, Philadelphia, PA 1850 - Brown blindstamped cloth boards with faded gilt lettering on spine. Boards have shelf wear and rubbing. Book is spine cocked and a few gatherings of pages are partially loose. Pages are age toned, and there is white out covering previous price on front free endpaper. Edge wear to the gatherings of pages, which are partially loose. Some old moisture stains and foxing. Scarce title with WorldCat listing only 5 copies. The author wrote three books for children: (1) Squirrels and Other Animals, (2) Letters from Malta and Sicily, and (3) Children's Mission. Inv. # 4821. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
