Text and title print are all intact. Ex-library from the Library of Congress, with markings. This report was made by Indian rights advocate and reformer Herbert Welsh after a visit to Fort Marion. He recorded the first-hand accounts of the Apache prisoners on the Apache wars, including Chatto's account, and his own observations on the neglect and treatment of the prisoners.
