ORIGINAL EROTIC DRAWING - "FUNBEAM SCREWMASTER"
[1940s], [San Francisco?] 1940 - 8 x 10" overall; image area approx. 6.25 x 9.25". Black ink on onionskin paper (Hemlock Erasable). Drawing features a woman reclining on a divan while enjoying a screwing machine / fucking machine in parody of an ad. "Girls! Girls! If you must be violated - do it the safe and easy way - enjoy the wonders of the mechical [sic] way by letting. Funbeam Screwmaster cut your meat for you!" It lists various features and selling points, plus four attachments. "2 for $69, f.o.b., Douchebag, Kuntucky." Drawing is on what looks like a pre-printed office form, drawn within a rectangle that has numbers 1-26 running down the left margin. From associated materials and style, we're confident in placing this drawing from San Francisco c. 1940s. A unique piece of American erotic ephemera. Ink drawing on paper. Clean and sharp, edges crisp. Fine
