[Paris, 1780. 20 plates, variously numbered. Image size 3-1/2 x 5 inches. 1 vols. 8vo. Later marbled boards, spine mostly perished. Some soiling and scattered foxing, generally very good. 20 plates, variously numbered. Image size 3-1/2 x 5 inches. 1 vols. 8vo. The plates depict hunting trophies (wth boar, fish, fowl), still lifes on harvest and rural themes, and arrangements of symbolic objects. Pierre Ranson (1736-1786) was noted for his drawings of fruits, flowers, vases, and cartouches. Jean-Charles Delafosse (1734-1789) was an artist and architect who published an Iconologie historique.
