Wien: Eigentumer, Verleger und Herausgeber, 1998. June 1998 softcover exhibition catalog. SIGNED BY KARL STOJKA, in blue pen, on the title page. A VERY GOOD copy of this scarce catalog of paintings by Karl Stojka. Stojka, a survivor of the Nazi concentration camps, was born in 1931 to a Roma Catholic gypsy family of the Lowara Roma tribe in Austria. Stojka began painting after the war. This catalog was sponsored by the Austrian Federal Ministery (sic) of Foreign Affairs and presents 92 full-page color reproductions, captioned in German and English by the artist. A clean, well-bound copy. Bound in color pictorial stiff paper wrapper. Bottom corners rubbed with short creases to front bottom corner of wrapper and first few text pages. Wrapper lightly edge worn with a few tiny closed tears. Spine is uncreased, all pages firmly bound. Laid into the book is an 8-1/2 x 11" sheet with a printed donation request by Stojka, so he could continue his work educating people about the Third Reich of the past and Neonazis of today, so that murderers like Hitler never again come back. 8-1/4 x 11-1/4". 112 pages. Signed By Artist. First Edition. Wrapper. Very Good. Illus. by Stojka, Karl. 4to.
