With an illustrated title page to each volume, plus further engravings to three volumes. Copperplate inscription to front free endpaper of 'Solitude', of one Edward J. Wilson. With publisher's catalogue to rear of two volumes. Condition: In original hardback bindings with cloth covered spines and leather spine labels. Externally, sound with wear to extremities and marks to boards. Some rear boards close-cropped. Internally, binding of two volumes loosening slightly in places, otherwise generally firmly bound. Generally bright. Foxing to first and last few pages of all volumes and occasional foxing and handling marks throughout. Overall: GOOD ONLY [Attributes: Hard Cover]
